Red Cedar Medical Center - Mayo Health System, Menomonie, WI, is recruiting a fulltime Materials Management Supervisor. This position is responsible for the development, maintenance and coordination of all supply support systems. The primary objective is to provide continuous supplies by placing the right item, at the right place, at the right time for the right price. This position will meet with department heads to determine needs, conduct product research, and review contracts.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field; previous materials management; strong computer skills; and the ability to interpret vendor contracts and effectively communicate and resolve discrepancies. Knowledge of medical terminology and prior supervisory experience preferred.

Nestle officials announced on Feb. 10 that they anticipate expanding their facilities in the Gateway Northwest Business Park. City officials said the proposed 250,000 square-foot building expansion could add nearly 150 new jobs and it would more than triple the size of their existing facility. If all necessary permits and approvals are granted, construction could begin as soon as April 1.
