Wisconsin Independent Network

Wisconsin Independent Network, LLC (WIN) is a full service provider of wholesale transport solutions and next generation IP solutions based in Eau Claire, WI. Started in 1999, WIN is part of Communications Management Group, LLC, a privately-held company owned by 31 independent local telephone companies. Sister company Airstream Communications provides underlying Internet connectivity and support services for over twenty independent telephone companies in Wisconsin.

WIN owns and operates the largest Wisconsin-based fiber optic transport network, with over 2,700 miles of fiber network, connecting cities in 4 states through more than 60 Points of Presence. Our network utilizes a combination of DWDM and SONET technologies to deliver SONET and IP bandwidth on fiber optic facilities using primarily Cisco optics and electronics.

WIN operates a new state-of-the art Data Center in Eau Claire. Commissioned in 2008, it supports a host of services. Collocation of customer computer servers and data infrastructure in a secure environment is the primary focus of the data center. The data center also features secure data backup services, virtual server hosting, email archiving service, and other IT services tailored to customer needs.
